Twelve years ago when I was starting my career in Education, I had no idea where the path I chose would lead me to. When I accepted the position of lab technician at Al Sahwa Schools, I instinctively felt that it would only be a stepping stone to aspire to something more challenging- bigger, better and brighter- in the field of Education. With great determination, strong motivation and support from colleagues, friends and family I challenged myself and worked harder to improve my position at the school, firstly as a Science Teacher, then as Pastoral Coordinator, and then General Education Diploma (GED) Coordinator and eventually to Assistant Principal, and today as the Head of Well-being of the school.
