Microsoft Brings Its Largest IT
Conference to the Region
With Tech.Ed Middle East

Microsoft Gulf today announced that it will host the region’s first ever Tech.Ed Middle East 2010 event from March 1-3, 2010 at the Dubai World Trade Center. Tech.Ed is Microsoft’s premier technical education event that takes place across select locations globally. UAE will be one of the top 10 locations selected by Microsoft globally to host Tech.Ed in 2010 with the aim of connecting technology professionals to broad set of current and future Microsoft technologies, tools, platforms and services.

Tech.Ed’s reputation as one of the leading technology conferences globally, is set to attract the region’s best technology professionals, developers, and global technology experts who will deliver sessions, provide hands-on training and in-depth product knowledge on Microsoft technologies. Attendees will experience world-class demonstrations of leading technology solutions that are designed to enhance productivity and meet the demands of tech savvy customers.

As part of Tech.Ed, senior Microsoft Corporate Executives will visit the region to discuss innovative and leading edge technologies like cloud-computing, virtualization, unified communications and more. Additionally, a range of new Microsoft technologies is expected to be unveiled at Tech.Ed Middle East.

Charbel Fakhoury, General Manager, Microsoft Gulf said, “Tech.Ed is Microsoft’s premier, global platform that provides hands-on learning, deep product exploration and opportunities for IT professionals to connect with the industry and Microsoft experts. If you are developing, deploying or managing Microsoft solutions, then Tech.Ed Middle East is the conference that will help you solve today's real-world IT challenges and prepare for tomorrow's innovations. We are very pleased to bring the first Tech.Ed Middle East to the region. This event is expected to bring together the region’s best and brightest IT professionals to discuss key technology trends and share best practices that will transform and drive the success of businesses in the Middle East.”

“The Dubai World Trade Centre is delighted to be working closely with Microsoft on Tech.Ed Middle East 2010 and to continue to build on the strong partnership established at GITEX TECHNOLOGY WEEK,” said Helal Saeed Almarri, CEO, Dubai World Trade Centre. “The event will provide an ideal platform for IT professionals and developers in the Middle East to get together to discuss how Microsoft’s innovations can help address important business issues.”
